Description:

: NO RESERVE – A PERSIAN CARPET
Persia (Iran), 20th century

Description:
Wool on cotton; finely hand-knotted Persian carpet featuring a central medallion design in a rich palette of earthy browns, ivory, and deep blues. The central rosette radiates floral and palmette motifs within a dense arabesque field, framed by elaborate floral spandrels and wide borders filled with stylized blossoms and scrolling vines. The intricate floral details and crisp geometry reflect traditional Isfahan or Nain craftsmanship.

This elegant Persian carpet exemplifies refined artistry and intricate symmetry. Its harmonious color scheme and densely worked design make it suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors. The craftsmanship suggests a high knot density and meticulous attention to traditional techniques. In excellent overall condition with minor expected signs of age and use.
