Description:

A GREEK GOLD BRACELET WITH TWO RAM TERMINALS, CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.

Formed from high-karat gold, this bracelet features a solid, rounded hoop with hammered surfaces and subtle undulating contours. Each terminal is sculpted as a finely detailed ram’s head, displaying tightly coiled horns, incised facial features, and textured fleece, executed in high relief. The gold exhibits a rich, warm yellow tone with a soft matte sheen, and the terminals are seamlessly integrated into the band.

The overall design is both robust and elegant, with the naturalistic modelling of the ram heads providing a striking visual focus. The bracelet’s form and iconography are characteristic of Hellenistic and late Classical Greek jewellery, symbolising strength and protection.
